FAQs
No. According to 28 U.S.C.A. 1654, you are entitled to represent yourself “pro per” or “pro se” in any legal matter without the requirement to obtain and pay for an attorney:
“In all courts of the United States the parties may plead and conduct their own cases personally or by counsel as, by the rules of such courts, respectively, are permitted to manage and conduct causes therein.”
Absolutely not. Paralegals did not graduate from an accredited law school, are not licensed to practice law, and are not members of the State Bar of Arizona, and as such are not permitted to offer legal advice, answer “what if?” questions, sign legal documents, and/or represent the interests of or appear in Court on behalf of a Client. If a paralegal offers you strategic advice, interpretation of the law, or offers to represent you or your legal positions to another party or entity, they are guilty of unlicensed practice of law and should be reported to the State Bar of Arizona.
These are great examples of “legal advice” that no paralegal should answer for you. AZ Family Law Solutions encourages you to seek the advice of a licensed Arizona attorney to assist you with answering all of your legal questions.
If you cannot afford an attorney or choose not to work with counsel, it will be your responsibility to determine your own legal needs and positions. However, once you have determined what is in your best legal interest, AZ Family Law Solutions is prepared to assist you with putting your positions, wants, and needs into a properly formatted legal document (“pleading”) and to provide you with procedural information to get the job done.
Yes. AZ Family Law Solutions would be happy to assist you by providing the name of a minimum of three (3) attorneys who are active members of the State Bar of Arizona as well as those who specialize in the practice of family law.

No. AZ Family Law Solutions has chosen to focus solely on our area of expertise – family law. With over 20 years’ experience in navigating the Arizona family court system, we believe that we will best serve you by applying our technical skills and procedural know-hows related exclusively to family law, not as jacks-of-all trades without a proficiency in any area of the law.
AZ Family Law Solutions is owned by a tenured and well-respected Arizona family law attorney whose expectations for quality and demand for adherence to ethical standards mirror those of her own law firm.
AZ Family Law Solutions provides drafting of law firm quality legal documents for filing specifically with Arizona County Superior Courts and adapted to your individual requirements. Internet forms and self-help kits are neither customized to the specific requirements of the Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure nor local family court rules. County Clerks and family court Judges expect documents to be filed according to their rules and regulations and will not hesitate to reject any pleading that is incomplete, inaccurate, or incoherent.
AZ Family Law Solutions provides you with the drafting of documents that are compliant with state and local rules of court and upon which only the best Arizona attorneys would be willing to sign their own names.
One of the services we provide that you will not find with document preparers and certainly not with internet forms is our What Comes Next?, a customized set of instructions tailored to assist you with managing the documents in your case, with your county court, and, when applicable, your Maricopa or Pinal County Superior Court judicial division.
If you still have questions, call us to schedule a 40-minute consultation with a nationally certified paralegal ($99) for assistance with navigating post-Petition Court forms, procedures, deadlines, and requirements.
